The Purpose of the PE Curriculum is:

In Physical Education we have Hurstmere’s values at the heart of our curriculum and it is embedded in the learning journeys, In PE our vision is for our pupils to become physically active and learn skills to enhance lifelong participation which is accessible for all.

Through enjoyable and challenging PE lessons the PE department will support our pupils to believe and achieve on their journey with us. Pupils will have opportunities to develop their ability in a range of different sporting activities and understand the key values of sport; enjoyment, teamwork, sportsmanship, respect and discipline.
